Spring always brings a fresh wave of inspiration and new opportunities for artists like me. As the days grow warmer and longer, the studio shifts its focus. This season, the up and coming agenda has a little sprinkle of everything.

Fresh Paintings to watch for

One of the most exciting parts of spring is the unveiling of new paintings.

With fresh blooms come new inspirations! As much as I have enjoyed the pastel winter skies, I am longing for late nights when the sun sets at 9:00 p.m. and I can sit on my front porch and read a book or sit on my tree swing and watch the sky light fire before it goes to bed. Even the act of walking my dog has sparked a lot of creative inspiration, the way the sun rays hit the bark on a tree exposing colors other than what we assume to see, like brown, but instead rich burnt umbers and sap greens with hints of lilac as a highlight. Nature is the perfect muse, and it will never stop changing.

I plan to have a oil painting collection of all different dimensions, 6-8 paintings, to be built up by the end of April.

I have a special announcement coming this year that i am eager to share with you.
